Associate of the Year Award

This award recognizes a Federation Associate Member that has, and continues to, contribute to the success of the Fair Industry in Florida.

We are proud to have dedicated a special Award to Associate Members as part of our organization. The presentation of this award will be made at the Annual Convention of the Florida Federation of Fairs and Livestock Shows. The award shall consist of a plaque with an appropriate citation and the recipient's name inscribed thereon.

ELIGIBILITY:
The conditions of eligibility are as follows:

• The nominee must be a current member of the Florida Federation of Fairs
• Nominee has contributed to the success of the Fair Industry for a minimum of 5 years.

• Nominations can be submitted by any member Fair or fellow Associate.
• The nominee shall have contributed to the Florida Federation of Fairs as well as offered something of value in the field of leadership and education such as serving on Committee’s, involvement in classes, seminars, workshops, etc.

• Consideration will be given if he/she contributes to other organizations in the community.

• All submittals must be made online through the Florida Federation of Fairs’ website.

• Nominations will be held over for an additional two-year period as long as the nominee meets the qualifications mentioned above.

NOMINATION:
The selection of a nominee shall be as follows:

• Nominations and all support documents are to be submitted through the website and are due no later than December 15^th.

• Nominations may include a memo highlighting the nominee’s achievements and involvement in the fair industry and their community.
