Summer Workshop Draws Over 100 Attendees

    The Florida Federation of Fairs Summer Workshop was held July 27th and 28th in Ft. Myers, Florida. The event was hosted by the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair in honor of Alta Mosley, the General Manager and current President of the Florida Federation.

    Over 100 Fair folks attended the two day event which included a welcome reception/ dinner and a full day of educational sessions. The workshop included sessions on the Florida Blue Ribbon Program, Best Ideas-Worst Ideas, along with table topics and panel discussions. The highlight of the day was “60 Tips in 60 Minutes” presented by Marla Calico from the IAFE.

    The event sponsors were: Southwest Florida Lee County Fair, The Mighty Blue Grass Shows, Manatee River Community Bank, and the Manatee County Fair. The support of these sponsors helps make such events possible for the Federation.
