FFF Registration

Registration for the Florida Federation of Fairs and Livestock Shows are still being accepted.

FEES:
Before May 1, 2017
$225 - Fairs Under 150,000 in attendance
$250 - Fairs Over 150,000 in attendance

After May 1, 2017
$250 - Fairs Under 150,000 in attendance
$275 - Fairs Over 150,000 in attendance

ONE DAY REGISTRATION:

Includes educational sessions and trade show admittance for that specific day. Thursdays day registration includes President's Party Reception. Friday's day registration includes Lunch. Saturday's Day registration includes Lunch. Day registration does not include the Saturday Night Gala ticket. Saturday Night Gala tickets can be purchased separately for $80 per person.

The Florida Fire Prevention Code requires that all places of assembly are required to have at least 1 crowd manager and additional crowd managers for every 250 participants within their facility. We are recommending that every Fair have attendees at this training workshop.

YPI Charity Fundraiser and Grants

IMPORTANT PROGRAMS INITIATED BY YPI COMMITTEE

The Young Professionals group has been hard at work this past year creating exciting new opportunities for FFF Fairs and Associates. With the support of the Florida Federation of Fairs Board of Directors, we are proud to announce the continuation of two community services based programs for the 2016-17 Fair Season. The projects with conclude with activities and recognition at the 2017 Convention in Orlando. See forms below.

1st - YPI Community Service Grants
We will be awarding two, $500 grants to fairs or associate members doing great things in their community. If you are a young professional (40 and under), organizing and promoting a community service project in your area, we want to help you go further and provide future funding. Applications for our YPI Community Service Grants are attached and will be posted on the FFF’s website and should be turned in before April 1, 2017. Tell us what your young members are doing to help make the world a better place and you just might be the recipient of $500.

2nd - YPI Resource Drive to assist the Harbor House of Central Florida in Orlando. The Harbor House of Central Florida is an organization committed to preventing and protecting victims of domestic abuse. Providing emergency services for those in trouble, accounts for almost 50% of what they do, but they also provide children’s services, legal assistance, community outreach, and more. We hope to provide them with an overwhelming amount of donations and we need EVERYONE’S help to make it happen!

Donations will be accepted during the annual FFF convention. The attached flyer will outline the items they need.

HOSPITALITY SUITE

We all know the hospitality suite is where the networking and friendships are strengthened.

Each evening, the hospitality suite is open to all attendees.

With 500 delegates attending, we need to be prepared for each one to visit the suite.

We are encouraging all the Fairs to share homemade snacks, beverages or anything else you feel will be helpful.

INSTITUTE OF FAIR MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

To ensure the group rate of $145.00 per guestroom ($218 for One Bedroom suite), you must identify the group name, Florida Federation of Fairs & Livestock Shows, and make your reservation no later than April 15, 2017. PLEASE NOTE: Because many people reserve extra rooms and then cancel them, we sometimes run out of rooms early. We ask anyone that has extra rooms that they do not need to cancel them as soon as possible but absolutely by April 15th. After that time, if a room is cancelled it does NOT go back into our block so we are requesting that you let Lisa Hinton know that you have extra rooms available. Due to the fact that this year's hotel requires a one night deposit with the room reservation, we will not be able to transfer registrations from one Fair to the other as we have in the past. HOWEVER, we will post a list here on the website of people that have extra rooms available and people that need extra rooms. We hope that you will be able to work with each other to transfer these reservations.

There are only a limited number of rooms at this rate but the hotel has added additional rooms/pool side (which is all they have left) at $139 + taxes.
